According to court documents, the Tuscaloosa Police Department received a report that "two dogs were being left on the porch of a home rented by Buggs" and they had no access to food or water. Buggs’ agent, Trey Robinson, denied the charges. He joined the Chiefs’ practice squad in January.
Isaiah Buggs (illness) is officially inactive for the Detroit Lions against the Chicago Bears in Week 11.

Buggs was unable to practice all week while battling the illness and will remain sidelined for the Week 11 contest. Brodric Martin and Levi Onwuzurike will join Buggs on the sidelines for a shorthanded defensive line rotation for head coach Dan Campbell against the Bears.
