As a rookie, McLaughlin turned heads for his explosiveness. After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, the 23-year-old carved out a solid role on the Broncos squad. He will look to resume and potentially increase his role in the Broncos' offense going into the 2024 season.

Jaleel McLaughlin's day was cut short by a concussion in the Broncos' finale. That's definitely not how he wanted to finish his first NFL campaign, but the undrafted rookie certainly turned some heads when given opportunities throughout the season. McLaughlin rushed for more than 400 yards this season at an impressive 5.4 per carry while adding 160 yards and two scores on 31 catches.

Jaleel McLaughlin carried the ball eight times for 44 yards and added three receptions for 18 yards in a 16-9 win over the Chargers in Week 17.

Fantasy Impact

McLaughlin outgained Javonte Williams by three yards despite seeing seven fewer carries. The rookie has shown explosiveness at times this season but has been stuck in a change-of-pace role for most of the year. He will finish off the season against the Raiders in Week 18.

Jaleel McLaughlin carried the ball six times for 37 yards while also catching four of his five targets for 30 yards in the Broncos' 26-23 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 16.

McLaughlin has struggled to remain consistently involved on offense of late, finishing with less than 40 total offensive yards in four of his last five games for the Broncos. The running back has yet to offer fantasy managers consistent results with his limited touches and is best left out of lineups despite a decent matchup against a disappointing Los Angeles Chargers squad in Week 17.

McLaughlin has offered nothing more than modest production out of the Denver backfield of late, finishing with less than 40 total offensive yards in each of his last seven contests for the Broncos. The running back is not someone fantasy managers can trust currently, with a difficult Week 16 matchup against the New England Patriots up next.
