Xavier Gipson
WR - New York Jets
2024 Outlook
Xavier Gipson is reportedly making an impression in Jets camp.
Fantasy Impact
Gipson is seemingly battling Malachi Corley for the No. 3 wide receiver role in camp as he continues to make plays. Gipson reportedly made more plays down the field than anyone other than Garrett Wilson. This will be a situation to monitor heading into training camp.
Xavier Gipson caught four of his seven targets for 33 yards and added an eight-yard run in a 37-20 loss to the Browns in Week 17.
Fantasy Impact
Gipson's seven targets tied him for third on the team in the loss on Thursday night. The rookie wideout has looked explosive when he gets the ball for the Jets this season and is worth a roster spot in deep dynasty leagues heading into the offseason. He will take on the Patriots in Week 18.
Xavier Gipson caught one of two targets for one yard and added a 16-yard rush in a 30-28 win over the Commanders in Week 16.
Fantasy Impact
Gipson has been quiet since his five-catch, 77-yard outing back in Week 13 against the Falcons. The rookie wideout will not be a recommended fantasy option against the Browns in Week 17's Thursday night game.
Xavier Gipson caught 2-of-6 targets for 29 yards in the Jets’ 30-0 loss to Miami.
Fantasy Impact
Gipson was second on the team in targets and tied for the lead in receiving yards Sunday. The 22-year-old rookie has seen his role in the Jets’ offense increase as of late and could continue to see more playing time with the Jets now eliminated from playoff contention. Gibson will look to continue to carve out a larger role in Week 16 against Washington.
Xavier Gipson caught his lone target for a gain of three yards during the Jets' 30-6 win over the Texans in Week 14. He also added a nine-yard rushing touchdown.
Fantasy Impact
Gipson has been productive on special teams, through the rushing attack, and as a receiver this season. He's a do-it-all player but doesn't see enough volume to earn a spot in fantasy lineups.
